Our beautiful baby girl was born at 2:31a.m. on Friday, October 18th! She was a week overdue & after a relatively short, intense labor, she had arrived! She weighed in at 10 lbs. 8 oz. & 22 1/2 inches (about the same size as Gabe & Gemma... though a few ounces more). But, after pooping out loads of meconium, she weighed almost 1 lb. less ;)
We took a short list of names to the hospital & after a day with her, decided on
Georgia Eve Hoggan. Both are names we have loved for a while now, but she had a peachiness to her that just screamed, "Georgia!" (As well as several songs crooning about "Georgia.") I love the nickname "Georgie." Gabe wants to call her "Evie." And Gemma just calls her "MY baby!" Patrick is deciding between "Pumpkin" & "Geves." :) We are thrilled to have her here!
